The Daily Hampshire Gazette’s selections for boys and girls tennis all-stars are next up on the docket.
Each team in the area made either their respective Western Mass or state tournaments, representing their hometowns on big stages.
Players just short of fulfilling All-Stars status were named honorable mentions.
Tennis All-Stars
Boys
Henry Michal | Amherst
Michal spent most of the season as the Hurricanes No. 1 singles player, taking on the toughest matchups for his team on their run to the Round of 32 of the Division 3 state tournament.
Luke Dudek | Belchertown
Dudek played a big role in the Orioles making it to the Round of 32 in the Division 3 state tournament, coming up with some impressive wins on the first singles court throughout his senior season.
Reed O’Connor | Northampton
The Blue Devils relied heavily on O’Connor in tough matchups all year long, with the senior helping lead his squad to the Western Mass finals and the Round of 16 of the Division 2 state tournament.
Ollie Levine | Northampton
Levine was a phenomenal compliment on the second singles court for the Blue Devils, creating a senior duo that truly led by example all season long.
Lee Furguson | PVCICS
Ferguson proved to yet again be one of the best singles players in the Pioneer Valley in 2026, holding down the first singles spot for the Dragons throughout their impressive run. The eighth grader consistently won his matchups throughout most of the year, leading the way for his squad.
Derek Ye | PVCICS
There wasn’t a more consistent player in high school tennis than Derek Ye this season, winning every single one of his matchups for the Dragons. The sophomore spent most of his time on the second singles court, beating each opponent he crossed paths with.
Devan Ye | PVCICS
Rounding out the incredible trio of singles players for the Dragons, Devan Ye was another staple throughout the regular season and postseason. With most of his matches coming from the third singles spot, the sophomore proved to be one of the most underrated players in the area.

Girls
Emma Learned-Miller | Amherst
Throughout their runs to the Western Mass finals and the Round of 32 of the state tournament, the Hurricanes trusted Learned-Miller in the toughest matchups on the first singles court. The senior came through in some huge moments, helping pave the way for the rest of the team to have success.
Mahima Ganesun | Amherst
Ganesun was nearly unbeatable this season on the second doubles court for the Hurricanes, even filling in with a few victories on the No. 1 court at different points throughout the year.
Amanda Murray | Belchertown
The Orioles didn’t have the year they wanted in 2026, but Murray continuously took on the toughest opponents on each match day, battling against the Pioneer Valley’s best
Grace O’Shea-Griffis | Holyoke
The Purple Knights put together a respectable season on the court, led by senior O’Shea-Griffis holding down the fort at No. 1 singles for most of the season. O’Shea-Griffis helped Holyoke to its best record in years as it finished at 5-8 overall.
Margaux Galvin | Northampton
Galvin impressed on the first singles court for the Blue Devils all regular season long, winning countless tough matchups. The senior finished off her career by providing a consistent producer in the biggest moments.
Chiara Ohm | Northampton
Ohm won her one opportunity on the first singles court for the Blue Devils in 2026, with almost zero losses throughout the year in her main spot at second singles.
Elisa Shinn | PVCICS
In Shinn’s third year with first singles experience, she continued to show improvement, playing a huge role in the Dragons’ run to the Round of 16 in the Division 4 state tournament.
Lien Power-Moran | PVCICS
Power-Moran was one of the toughest players to play against in the area in 2026, winning nearly every one of her matchups that mostly came from the second singles court for the Dragons.
