NAME THAT TUNE — Sing-along with Steve is held the first and third Mondays of the month from 11 to 11:45 a.m. in the large activity room.

BLOOD PRESSURE CLINICS — Tuesdays, 9 to 10 a.m. in the Garrabrants room. Free. Appointments not needed.

CRAFTS NIGHT —Thursday, 5:30 p.m. Make an easy spring wreath of covered wire and flowers. There will be a second surprise project. Bring a glue gun and a few glue sticks and join in the fun. Call to make reservations.

BAG SALE — Join in the “Fill a Bag Sale” at our Second Best store. Fill the bag that we provide with clothing or shoes for for only $5 only. Sale is the last two weeks in March, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 to 11:30 a.m., and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

HYPNOSIS —March 24, 10:30 a.m. Hypnotherapists Basil Roman and Donna Lee Honeywell conduct a free informational meeting about how hypnosis works. Hypnosis is said to help with weight-loss, smoking cessation, overcoming phobias, anxiety reduction and other quality of life issues.

HOLIDAY DINNERS —March 10 features a corned beef dinner in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, and March 23 an Easter dinner. Reservations accepted now. Suggested donation is $4

SHOPPING TRIP —Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. to noon, for seniors who no longer drive. Available to go to Hadley grocery stores and the mall. $4 round trip. Call by Tuesday to reserve your seat.

HAIRCUTS AT SMITH VOC — Friday. Stylist and co-owner of Hair by Harlow, Kendra Kaczenski, teachers and hairstylists Jennifer Gilman and Cynthia Ouimette and the students of Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School have appointments available for haircuts for seniors for $5. For an additional $2 hair can be set. Appointments will only be booked with accompanying payment at the senior center. Haircuts take place at the school, 80 Locust St.

AUTHOR OF THE MONTH —March 22, 1 p.m., Hal Portner will be at the center to read from and discuss his novel “The Guardian’s Way.” FREE for seniors with a scan card. A scan card can be obtained at the reception desk the day of the event.

TEA TIME TUESDAYS — Tuesdays at 2:45 p.m. Come relax, share in good conversation and enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee. Free to seniors with a scan card.

TRIPS & TRAVEL — Coordinator Francine Frenier is available Monday afternoons from noon to 4 p.m. Call for more information.

Friday: Boston Flower Show, lunch at Maggiano’s, stop at Quincy Market. This trip requires a lot of walking. Departs at 8:30 a.m. and returns 9:30 p.m. $115.
