Middlebury 17, Amherst 14 – Dylan Park scored four goals, and Kane Haffey added three in a road loss Saturday.
Delaware outscored UMass 4-2 in the fourth quarter after the teams entered the final frame tied at 5.
The loss broke a four-game winning streak for No. 4 Amherst (7-2, 3-1 NESCAC).
Hamilton 6, Amherst 2; Amherst 8, Hamilton 7 (10) – Ariel Kenney had three hits and drove in a run in the second game of a doubleheader split Saturday.
Joe Feldman hit a walkoff single in the bottom of the 10th inning to give Amherst the win.
Amherst (12-3, 2-1 NESCAC) lost the first game of the doubleheader and only totaled two hits.
UMass 8, George Mason 0 (5); UMass 4, George Mason 1 – Taylor Carbone totaled three hits and five runs batted in as the Minutewomen swept a doubleheader Saturday.
The series’ third game Sunday was cancelled.
Amherst 7, Middlebury 4; Middlebury 9, Amherst 6 (susp.) – Alena Marovitz drove in three runs on two hits, and Kyra Naftel and Sammy Salustri each totaled three hits in a home win Saturday.
Middlebury led Amherst 9-6 in the top of the sixth inning in the tam’s second game before it was suspended because of darkness.
Five Amherst (11-4, 2-0 NESCAC) players had multiple hits.
Babson 14, Mount Holyoke 6 – Julia Bell scored three goals in a home loss Saturday.
The Lyons (1-6, 0-2 NEWMAC) led 3-2 at one point before Babson scored six goals in a row to take control of the game.
Middlebury 8, Amherst 7 — The Purple and White fell to the Panthers in overtime Saturday.
Claire Cagnassola led Amherst (5-2, 2-2 NESCAC) with four goals, Mia Haughton had three.
Emerson 19, Smith 11 — Even with six goals from Julia Hamilton, the Pioneers (4-5) were not able to overcome Emerson on Saturday.
Ray Silveria contributed two goals along with two assists.
UMass 15, Duquesne 9 — Nicole Troost made up a third of the the Minutewomen’s offense Sunday, scoring five goals. It was the fifth win in a row for the Minutewomen (9-1, 2-0 Atlantic 10).
CCSU Invitational — UMass finished second out of eight teams Saturday.
Benjamin Groleau won the 5,000-meter run in 14 minutes, 45 seconds.
John Chuma took first in the pole vault, reaching 4.4 meters, and Deion Arneaud finished first in the long jump at 6.76 meters.
CCSU Invitational — The Minutewomen finished second out of six teams Saturday.
Colleen Sands won the 5,000m run in 17:16.
Meghan Patrolia finished first in the 100 meter hurdles in 15.15 seconds.
Kelsey Crawford took first in two events, throwing the shot put 13.24 meters and the javelin 42.50 meters.
Bridget Deveau finished first in the 400m hurdles in 1:03. She was also a part of a relay team that finished first in the 4×400.
Fitchburg State Invitational — Mount Holyoke finished seventh out of 17 teams Saturday.
Senior Elizabeth DeLeon led the way for the Lyons, finishing sixth in the 800m run and fourth in the 1500m run. Smith finished second at the invitational. Zoe Rubinstein and Cassandra Naranjo took first in the pole vault and high jump, respectively.
Tufts Snowflake Classic — Amherst finished seventh Saturday.
Leonie Rauls led the way for the Purple and White finishing, second in the 800m run in 2:22.
UMass 7, Fairleigh Dickinson 0 — The Minutewomen (10-6) won their fifth straight match Saturday.
Ana Yrazusta defeated Nicole Chis 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 singles.
Mount Holyoke 8, Colby-Sawyer 1 — The Lyons’ (10-7, 5-3 NEWMAC) only loss came at No. 4 singles Saturday.
Amherst 8, Brandeis 1 — The Purple and White (6-4, 1-0 NESCAC) swept Brandeis in the doubles matches en route to its sixth victory of the year Saturday.
Connecticut College 8, Mount Holyoke 1 — The Lyons (10-7, 5-3 NEWMAC) only victory came in the doubles play Sunday.
Ayame Yazawa and Margaux Holloschutz defeated Charlotte Marcoux and Aleksandra Drljaca 8-4 at No.1 doubles.
Tufts 7, Amherst 2 — The Purple and White picked up their fourth loss of the year Saturday. Amherst picked up wins by Anton Zykov at No. 1 Singles and Aaron Revzin and Michael Solimano at No.1 doubles.
Amherst 6, Skidmore 3 — Amherst’s (10-4, 2-1 NESCAC) victory improves its record to 11-4 on Sunday.
Regional Championships — Mount Holyoke took the top spot Saturday, scoring 353 points. Bridget Finnerty was the year-end high point fences rider.
