A man sleeping inside an ATM at the Peoples Bank, 56 Amity St., was awakened at 11:10 p.m. Monday and sent on his way by officers.
David E. Harrison, 56, of 246 Main St. Apt. 7, was arrested at that address on charges of disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct at 2:16 p.m. Monday. Harrison allegedly was causing a drunken disturbance with a staff member outside the group home where he lives.
When police arrived, Harrison was in his room blaring music. Police said he was arrested after allegedly threatening physical harm to officers and others.
James A. Tryon, 27, of 150 Holyoke St., was arrested on a warrant at that address at 10:37 p.m. Monday.
Jennifer L. Rex, 34, of 38 Plain St., was arrested at the top of Mountain Road at 1:08 a.m. Sunday on charges of operating while under the influence of alcohol, a marked lanes violation, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to use care in starting or stopping, and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle after she allegedly crashed through a yard on Holyoke Street.
A caller reported that a vehicle had crashed through her yard and left the scene with the horn stuck on. Rex allegedly left the road, drove through a set of tall hedges, across a lawn and driveway and into a tree, deploying her vehicle’s airbag and leaving behind several car parts including a license plate, according to police.
