Darrin P. Richard, 37, of Bryan, Texas, was arrested at 1:09 a.m. Thursday on Lincoln Avenue on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol (third offense), operating a motor vehicle without headlights and negligent operation of a motor vehicle to endanger.
Paul R. Scace, 54, who provided an address as the Craig’s Place homeless shelter, 434 North Pleasant St., was arrested at 11:26 a.m. Thursday outside the CVS Pharmacy, 76 North Pleasant St., after leaving the store without paying for Powerade and Red Bull beverages, police said.
Terrence Ware Jr., 23, of Springfield, was arrested at 10:37 a.m. Wednesday at the Center for Extended Care, 150 University Drive, on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after he visited an employee at the location and caused a scene, police said.
Jose I. Feliciano, 37, of Holyoke, was arrested 4:54 p.m. Wednesday at the Tart Baking Co., 192 Main St. He faces charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, destruction of property more than $250 and disorderly conduct after throwing hot coffee at a store employee and shattering glass display jars when he was told there is no public rest room, police said.
Rani M. Patel, 30, of Florence, was arrested for shoplifting at 10:42 a.m. Wednesday when police responded to the Big Y supermarket, 136 N. King St. Store staff told police they observed Patel conceal about $65 worth of groceries and try to walk out of the store without paying for them.
