NORTHAMPTON — After almost two hours, the lock down at Northampton High School was lifted after police gave the all-clear Tuesday afternoon.
Lt. Alan Borowski said the high school went into lock down after a written bomb threat was discovered inside one of the bathrooms.
Officers and fire rescue officials were called around 11:12 a.m., Borowski said, adding that the state police bomb squad was called to assist in the investigation.
Borowski said there was no information immediately available about what the threat may have specified.
