Daemon Ackerman

Florence, MA – Daemon William Ackerman, 21, of Florence, Massachusetts, passed away tragically in an accident on October 25, 2026. He was born on May 7, 2005, in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Daemon graduated from Northampton High School in 2023. Throughout his working years, he was employed by UPS in Whately, CVS in Easthampton, and most recently, The Human Connection in South Deerfield.

Growing up in Northampton, Daemon enjoyed playing a variety of sports, including football, basketball, and, above all, his true love, baseball. He also enjoyed bowling, occasionally playing golf, shooting pool, playing video games, and listening to music across many genres.

Daemon had a personality that was impossible to forget. He made lifelong friends wherever he went and seemed to have a way of making everyone feel welcome. Known as the “life of the party,” he loved having a good time, making people laugh, and creating memories that would be shared and cherished for years to come. His quirky smile, infectious laugh, and free spirit brought a special energy to every gathering. There was rarely a dull moment when Daemon was around, and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life was one of his greatest gifts. He lived life in his own way, with a spirit and personality that were uniquely his. He leaves behind countless memories and a void that can never truly be filled by those who knew and loved him.

Some of Daemon’s happiest memories were made during trips to the beaches of New Hampshire and Maine with his grandmother, uncle, aunt, and his best bud and cousin, Theryn. These special times together will forever hold a place in the hearts of those who shared them with him.

Daemon is survived by his parents, Michael and Elizabeth (Rock) Ackerman of Florence; his sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Brian Nichols of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts; his brothers and their wives, James and Brandene Gagnon of Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts; Jon and Anna Sophie McCabe of Arlington, Massachusetts; his brother Joseph Ackerman of Japan; his brothers Dustin and Brandon Ackerman of Easthampton; and his younger brother, Kyle Ackerman of Florence.

He also leaves behind his grandmother, Michelle Davis of Chicopee; his uncle and aunt, Christopher and Michelle Pelletier of Ludlow; his aunt, Catherine Ouimette of Easthampton; his uncle, Milton Rock III of Greenfield; his uncle and aunt, Christopher and Tammy Rock of Enfield, Connecticut; and his uncle and aunt, Joseph Rock and Jade Bennett of Martha’s Vineyard.

Daemon will also be lovingly remembered by his many cousins, including Theryn Pelletier; Milton IV Rock and family; Tyler Rock and family; Peter, Nick, and Simonne Ouimette; Jacob, Daniel, and Natalie Rock; Sebastian and Grace Bennett Rock; and Michael Dominick. He leaves behind many other relatives and dear friends whose lives were touched by his presence.

Daemon was predeceased by his grandfather, William Davis, and his grandmother, Ann Rock, as well as several other beloved family members.

Though Daemon’s life was far too short, the laughter he shared, the friendships he formed, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
