DEERFIELD — One person was transported by ambulance with minor injuries as a result of a Thursday night accident on South Mill River Road, according to Deerfield Police.
The driver left the vehicle before police arrived and offered no explanation of how the crash occurred shortly after 11 p.m. The road was closed until 1 a.m. Friday while a tow tuck worked to remove the vehicle from a ditch.
South Deerfield Fire Department and South County Ambulance also responded. The driver was transported to Baystate Franklin Medical Center.
