Jessica Petrus and Evan Aird were married June 12 in Belmont.
Evan is the son of Linda Aird of Granby and the late Thomas Aird.
Jess is the daughter and step-daughter of Janet and Michael Vogel of Traverse City, Michigan, and the daughter of Mike Petrus of Surprise, Arizona.
The patriarch of the groom’s family, Dave Brothers, was granted authority to officiate. Several friends of the bride sang, and Juliet Petrus Laurenti and James DeBoer were attendants. Amadeo Laurenti was the ring bearer.
It was a beautiful coming together of the couple, their families and friends. They met at a cafe called Ordinary, but everything from there has been extraordinary. The couple resides in Somerville where the groom works for MassGIS and the bride sings professionally.
