FREE SHREDDING – TRIAD presents a free shredding event Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon behind People’s Bank on Amity Street.

ESTATE PLANNING – Attorney Valerie Vignaux, Bacon Wilson, P.C., will give a free presentation on estate planning basics June 28 at 1:30 p.m. Talk includes wills, powers of attorney, health care proxies and medical orders for life sustaining treatment (MOLST). She will also discuss the probate process and how to avoid it.

MUSICAL SHOWCASE – Ladies First quartet will perform July 29 at 2 p.m. This group sings competitively in four-part acapella harmony. Free admission and refreshments. 

NAME THAT TUNE —Sing-along with Steve is held the first and third Mondays of the month from 11 to 11:45 a.m. in the large activity room.   Monday – Jazz Standards.

July 28, DAY ON YOUR OWN IN OGUNQUIT, MAINE. Depart 7 a.m. $50 cost includes motorcoach and gratuity. Take a trolley ride around the town, swim in the ocean, shop and dine at the restaurant of your choice.

Aug. 24 Fast ferry to Provincetown. depart at 6 a.m. and return at 9 p.m. $130 cost includes ferry, motorcoach, and gratuity. Participants will have a 90-minute ride each way. Leave Boston at 8:30 a.m. and be in Provincetown from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Will stop at Maggiano’s/Legal Seafood for dinner before returning home (extra)

Aug. 28, TANGLEWOOD SUNDAY CONCERT. Beethoven Symphony No. 9. Depart at 11:30 a.m. and return at 6:30 p.m. $53. Cost includes lawn seats. You may buy your own shed tickets if you prefer. The concert starts at 2:30 p.m. Participants may bring lawn chairs and picnic food of their choice. Pizza, sandwiches and drinks are available for purchase.

ANNUAL SUMMER PICNIC – Aug. 18, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Picnic will be held at the senior center, and includes everything for a great lunch. Reservations willl be taken beginning July 22 at 8 a.m.; there is a limit of 136 guests. Suggested donation, $2.25. Bingo and prizes after the meal.

Summer Concerts – July 30, Now’s the Time jumps with jazz following the blueberry festival. These concerts are held on the lawn behind the library where there is ample space for lawn chairs and blankets.

WALKING GROUP & HIKES – Walkers meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m. at the parking lot in the center of town. You can walk as much or as little as you like. The hikes take place around our local area and are led by local folks.
