Will O’Connor drove in three runs to help Northampton Mickey Mantle remain unbeaten in the Western Mass. Baseball Championship, beating South Hadley 15-4 in five innings Wednesday in South Hadley.

Northampton scored nine runs in the first inning and drew seven walks in the game.

Ryan Long hit a two-run triple.

Devonta Edmons scored three runs and had an RBI.

Will Jordan scored twice and drove in a run.

Zac Brittain, Chris Darragh and Matt Bouley had RBIs.

Will Jordan picked up the win, throwing three innings of shutout ball with just one hit and three strikeouts.

Garrett Guistina had a hit and scored a run for South Hadley.

Dalton 12, Easthampton 4 — Jack O’Connell had an RBI on a sacrifice fly, another hit and a run scored in Easthampton’s road loss.

Mitchell Carson also drove in a run, and Billy Mollison went 1 for 3 with a double and a run scored.

Northampton 5, Southwick 3 — Will Sawyer went 3 for 3 with a double and an RBI to help the Northampton 12U Cap Rikpen team erase a 3-0 deficit to win its firsrt game of the Southwick Sizzler 12U Tournament.

Sawyer also got the win on the mound, striking out six.

Jonny Callahan had two hits, while Quinn McDonald scored two runs.

Colin Larson hit a double.

Softball

Easthampton 12, Frontier 3 — Jocelyn Mettey went 3 for 3 with three RBIs to help the 12U Eliminators close out their regular season.

Emma Downher hit a three-run triple, and Bailey McCoy went 2 for 2 with an RBI.

Chelsea Indyk, McKenzie McCarthy, Kiersten Vishaway and Abby McClaflin all had RBIs.

Mettey earned the win, pitching three innings and striking out three, while Indyk struck out five in three innings of relief.
