Connor O. McLaughlin, 22, of Norton, was arrested at 1:28 a.m. Thursday on Montague Road on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle to endanger, failure to stay within marked lanes and speeding.
A Black Lives Matter banner displayed on the Unitarian Meetinghouse, 121 North Pleasant St., was reported stolen at 2:39 p.m. Wednesday.
Fresh graffiti was placed on the exterior of two downtown businesses, on Main Street and North Pleasant Street, in incidents reported at 8:59 a.m. and 9:28 a.m. Wednesday. Police are trying to identify the suspects.
