The start of the high school football season is less than a week away.
On Friday, several teams gathered at Northampton to scrimmage and work out final details as opening day approaches.
Northampton welcomed rival Amherst Regional, as well as Agawam and Hoosac Valley to David Wright Field.
Northampton opens with Minnechaug on Sept. 9, while Amherst hosts Wahconah.
Agawam is at East Longmeadow, while Hoosac is at Westfield. All games are at 7 p.m.
