Hadley police officers responded to the scene of a hit-and-run accident at Russell and North Maple streets late Friday night. Police are looking for a dark-colored sedan with rear-end damage that left the scene before officers arrived.

HADLEY – Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident involving two vehicles that occurred Friday at 11:48 p.m. at Russell and North Maple streets. 

A dark sedan with heavy rear-end damage was seen fleeing the scene prior to officers arriving, according to the Hadley Police Department. 

Hadley police and firefighters and an Amherst ambulance responded to the scene. The driver of the vehicle that was struck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to police.
