Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts will host Fork It Over, the annual Girl Scout cookie culinary competition and fundraiser Sept. 27, at the Delaney House in Holyoke.
The event, which takes place from 5 to 7 p.m., features some of the regionโs top chefs who will create original appetizers and desserts using Girl Scout cookies.
Participants include Cafรฉ Evolution of Florence, Chandlerโs Restaurant of South Deerfield, Gateway City Bistro of Holyoke, Herrellโs Ice Cream of Northampton, Holyoke Community College Nutrition Department, Pappโs Bar & Grill of Westfield and Peteโs Sweets of East Longmeadow.
The judges will determine the winners in both โSweetโ and โSavoryโ categories. Attendees will vote for Peopleโs Choice favorite.
Music will be provided by the Motown themed duo, Center Stage. There will also be a silent auction and raffle and each ticket holder will receive a cookbook with the chefs’ recipes.
Tickets are $30 each or two tickets for $50 for advance purchases through Sept. 21, and are available online at www.gscwm.org or by calling 584-2602.
All tickets at the door are $30 each. All proceeds benefit Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts.
