Maddie Grabowski netted a 76th-minute winner for the Easthampton girls soccer team in a 1-0 road win over Smith Academy on Thursday.

Angela Nardi provided the assist for Easthampton (2-4), while Lilli Pioli made five saves.

Charlotte Vannah stopped 11 shots for Smith Academy (0-3-1) in her first varsity action in goal.

Smith Vocational 3, Hampden Charter 0 — Maddisin Atkinson kept a clean sheet with nine saves for the Vikings.

Marissa Mahey, Sydney Cyr and Caleigh Sullivan scored for Smith Vocational (5-0).

Shannon Ryan and Gabby Petlock dished out assists.

Monument Mountain 6, Frontier 1 — Julia Riordan scored on a pass from Sarah Meunier in a road loss.

Eliza Desmairas made six saves in the first half, while Alexa Boyden made four saves in the second half for the Red Hawks (3-3).

Field hockey

Frontier Regional 7, Pioneer 0 — McKenzie Patterson tallied two goals and an assist in a home win.

Catherine Mason also scored twice, while Lauren McDonald had two assists. Olivia Vecellio picked up a goal and an assist.

Ashley Borkowski and Celia Speth both scored for Frontier (6-1), while Camille Alli had an assist.

Skyla Burniske didn’t need to make a save in the first half, while Darian Meyers stopped two shots in the second half.

Boys soccer

Smith Vocational 5, Franklin Tech 4 — Anthony Palazzi netted a second-half hat trick in a road win for the Vikings.

Tomaz Oliveira added a penalty kick in the first half and assists Palazzi on one of his goals. Cameron Perry also scored unassisted.

Jamie Mikalonis made six saves for Smith Voke (2-3-1, 2-2-1 Tri-County North).

Amherst Regional 1, Westfield 1 — Tim Felton tied the game in the 50th minute for the Hurricanes on an assist from Tate Rietkirk.

Liam Carolan made three saves for Amherst (2-1-1).

Granby 5, Sci-Tech 0 — Ryan Bachand and Joe Desormier each had a goal and an assist as the Rams took a 3-0 halftime lead and coasted from there.

Ryan Shaw, Noah Bleakley and Weishan Li has a goal apiece, while Alex Joao and Daylon Kongo each had an assist from Granby (5-2, 3-1 McGrath South) in front of Doug Labbee (two saves) and Ryan Walz (three saves), who split time in the shutout.

Hampshire 5, South Hadley 0 — Harry George scored three times and Dillon Pooler had the other two as the Raiders rolled on the road.

Oguzhan Ibic and Regan Bishop each had an assist in front of Ioannis Iatroudis, who made five saves for Hampshire (3-0).

Nehemiah Wilson stopped 14 for South Hadley (0-7-1).

Frontier Regional 4, Athol 0 — Zach Hamilton and Ethan Lafleur picked up a goal and an assist each in a road win.

Dan Bronke and Ben Morse also scored for the Red Hawks (4-1, 4-0 Schmid).

Doug Hanieski, and Loay Helaly added assists, while Peter Bronke made three saves.

Volleyball

Minnechaug 3, Frontier 2 — Lauren Davenport collected nine kills and five aces and the Red Hawks forced a fifth set, but they couldn’t close out the victory at home.

Ella Deane dished out 25 assists, while Selayna Bathurst had 10 aces and 10 digs.

Frontier (4-3, 1-1 Eastern) won the first set 25-20, lost the next two 25-17 and 25-23 before forcing a fifth set with a 25-10 win in Set 4.

Minnechaug won Set 5 15-12.
