With six seconds left in overtime, the UMass women’s soccer team gave up a goal to Maggie Boyd and lost 1-0 to Davidson Thursday on the road.

The Minutewomen (2-9-1, 0-5 A-10) hit the crossbar twice on shots by Daniela Alvarez and Natalie Perusault during the game.

UMass goalie Cassidy Babin made five saves.

Keene State 3, Smith College 1 — Reilly Sullivan scored on an assist from Innis Hitt for the Pioneers in a road loss.

Camryn Biasin made eight saves for Smith College (7-3-4)

Girls volleyball

Elms College 3, Southern Vermont 0 — Hannah Adams (Deerfield) had seven kills while Haley Asselin (South Hadley) added four in the 25-16, 25-17, 25-21 win for the Blazers (5-15, 2-1 NECC).

Field hockey

Elms 7, Daniel Webster 2 — Kelly Moulton (Whately) made six saves as the Blazers (7-6) won at home.
