Florence, MA – Paul Martin passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Cooley Dickinson Hospital at age 67, surrounded by family.
Paul was born April 14, 1958, in Northampton, Massachusetts, to Jane Ann (O’Connor) Martin and James R. Martin Jr. Paul was the life of the party and loved a good time. He was a natural caregiver with a generous heart and a great sense of humor, always ready with a joke or laugh.
Paul built a career in concrete masonry, eventually founding his own business, Custom Concrete. His craftsmanship lives on through his projects, including the entrance fountain at Look Park, the foundation of Joe’s Pizza, and the playground at Ryan Road Elementary School, where he volunteered his labor.
Paul is survived by his wife of 32 years, Karen (Shoro) Martin; children, Sara Martin, Grant Martin, Samantha Martin, and Ella Graves; and his seven grandchildren. He is survived by his siblings Matthew Martin, Gerry Martin, and Nancy Graves. He was predeceased by his brother James R. Martin III.
