Neither the Frontier Regional nor Smith Academy field hockey teams found the net in a 0-0 tie Monday in South Deerfield.

Skyla Burniske had one save for the Red Hawks (12-1-4, 3-1-3 North), while Taeghan Cavanaugh collected 14 for the Falcons (6-7-3, 3-3-1).

South Hadley 14, Central 0 — The Tigers received goals from 12 players in a road win.

Kelly Clare and Bella Yee (assist) netted two goals each. Jill Ayers scored a goal and had two assists, while Isabelle Patruno, Olivia Wilson and Corryn Moroney all scored a goal and added an assist.

Hannah Ziomek, Breann Foley, Julia Miele and Savannah Sadika, Kayla Carlton and Abbie Carey each had one goal.

Brittany Cote and Brooke Blair split the game in goal for South Hadley (8-7-2) and neither recorded a save.

Northampton 4, Palmer 1 – Anna Kerwood scored a goal and added two assists in a road win. Sophie Morini, McKenna Goggins and Meleah Follis all scored for Northampton (9-5-3, 4-1-2 Central).

Abigael Baldwin had two assists, while Danielle Parent recorded three saves in goal.

Girls Volleyball

Smith Vocational 3, Franklin Tech 0 – The Vikings swept in straight sets 25-9, 25-8, 25-21 as Avalon Darby had nine aces, four kills, four digs and an assist.

Desyaneria Padilla-Garcia added four aces, two blocks, two kills, two digs and five assists for Smith Voke (8-11, 4-4 Metro).

Chicopee 3, Easthampton 0 — Megan Morissette contributed four aces and seven digs in a 25-22, 25-14, 25-21 home loss.

Samantha Garcia had five digs, while Veronica Hing added five assists for the Eagles (3-12, 0-7 Southern).

Hopkinton 3, Frontier Regional 0 — Selayna Bathurst led the Red Hawks with six kills and eight digs in a 25-16, 25-13, 25-17 home loss.

Grace Randall and Lauren Davenport contributed five kills each, while Ella Deane had 19 assists.

Olivia Deane led Frontier (5-12) with three aces.
