Kaitlin Braz scored in double overtime as the Mount Holyoke field hockey team beat Wellesley, 2-1, in the NEWMAC Tournament quarterfinal round in Wellesley.
Mirjam Keochakian had the assist. She also gave the Lyons (12-6) a 1-0 lead in the first half.
Liz DiCesare made one save in the win.
Mount Holyoke will play at Babson at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the semifinals.
Elms 2, Mitchell 0 — Scott Labrie (Southampton) scored the game-winning goal in the first half as the visiting Blazers (5-13-1) won the NECC Tournament first round.
Elms will visit Daniel Webster at 2 p.m. on Friday.
