AMHERST – In order to help preserve institutions she feels will be important counter-measures to policies put forward by President-Elect Donald Trump, Alison McCoy is going to “Bake America Great Again.”
The Amherst resident is selling baked goods, including coconut cupcakes, chocolate cupcakes with espresso frosting, and cookies and chocolate cookies with rainbow M&Ms (pride cookes), and donating the money to progressive organizations.
All funds raised will go directly to organizations such as Planned Parenthood, ACLU, Southern Poverty Law Center and the NAACP. McCoy said that those buying the cupcakes and cookies could designate where they want their money to go.

Cupcakes are sold by the half dozen and cookies by the dozen. All orders can be made gluten-free and the chocolate cupcakes can be made vegan.
