Alyx Stiff made two free throws with 16 seconds left to seal a 69-66 win over Holy Cross for the UMass women’s basketball Sunday.

They put the Minutewomen up 69-64, which capped a second-half comeback.

UMass (6-6) trailed 43-25 at halftime before outscoring the Crusaders 24-9 in the third quarter.

Stiff finished with 10 points and three rebounds.

Hailey Leidel led UMass with 21 points, and Leah McDerment scored 15.

Maggie Mulligan grabbed 12 rebounds and scored nine points.

Men’s ice hockey

Arizona State 4, UMass 1 — Steven Iacobellis scored from Austin Plevy and Patrick Lee in the second period, but the Sun Devils answered with four straight goals Saturday.

Ryan Wischow made 22 saves for the Minutemen (4-12-2)
