Lois Barber is a winner in the 2016 New England Public Radio Art Mug Contest. Her submission shows 14 whimsical birds making a ring around the white mug standing atop the words ‘New England Public Radio.’ Two of the birds are wearing headphones, presumably listening to NEPR. The Art Mug is available as a ‘Thank You’ for making a donation to NEPR.
Barber’s winning painting is one in a series she calls ‘Birdz of a Feather’ that she began in early 2014 following a watercolor painting trip to Provence, France. She sells her original watercolors and small prints at Hope & Feathers Gallery in Amherst and Essentials in Northampton.
