Nicholas Osepowicz and Mari Johnston, both of Broad Brook, Connecticut, were married Oct. 29, 2016, at Annunciation Chapel in Florence by Father David Aufiero.
The groom, 28, is the son of Edward and Susan Osepowicz of Florence. He is a fuel cell engineering manager at Doosan Fuel Cell America, Inc. of Windsor, Connecticut. He is a 2006 graduate of Northampton High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2010 and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Connecticut, Storrs, Connecticut in 2014.
The bride, 29, is the daughter of Eric and Janet Johnston of Attleboro. She is a development associate, special events, for Harvard Medical School in Boston. She is a 2006 graduate of Attleboro High School and received a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and tourism management, with a focus in event management, from the University of Massachusetts Eisenberg School of Management in 2010.
Christopher Osepowicz, brother of the groom, served as best man.
The groomsmen were Edward Kennedy, brother-in-law of the groom; Kevin Johnston, brother of the bride; Kevin Black; Mathew Long and Michael Pratt.
The maid of honor was Kristina Secinaro.
The bridesmaids were Amanda Kennedy, sister of the groom; Laura Johnston, sister-in-law of the bride; Jackie Osorio, cousin of the bride; Kimberly St. Laurent and Ilse Willems
The flower girl was Teaghan Kennedy, niece of the groom, and the ring bearer was Oliver Johnston, nephew of the bride.
A reception was held at the Garden House, Look Park in Florence
The couple honeymooned in Woodstock, New Hampshire in October and Kauai and Maui, Hawaii in January.
