Westfield State 80, Worcester State 60 — Jose Allen (Amherst) had 16 points on senior day as the Owls (10-14, 6-6 MASCAC) won at home Saturday.
La Salle 57, UMass 52 — Maggie Mulligan had 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Ryan Holder and Leah McDerment each had 11 points, but the Minutewomen (9-19, 3-12 Atlantic 10) fell at home Sunday.
Amherst 76, Bates 35 — Emma McCarthy (19 points), Meredith Doswell (13 point) and Madeline Eck (10 points) reached double figures as top-ranked Amherst (25-0) stayed perfect at home with the NESCAC quarterfinal win Saturday.
Meghan Sullivan (Granby) had nine points, three rebounds and three assists in the win.
Coast Guard 87, Mount Holyoke 41 — Kathryn Violette had nine points to lead the Lyons (2-22, 0-16 NEWMAC) in their season finale at home Saturday.
Emerson 67, Smith 66 — Kennedy Guest-Pritchett had 23 points and 15 rebounds, while Erin Hanley added 13 and 11, respectively, as the Pioneers (17-8, 9-7 NEWMAC) won their regular season finale on the road Saturday.
Westfield State 102, Worcester State 82 — Rebecca Sapouckey (Granby High) had 10 points and six rebounds, while Jill Valley (Mahar) set a program-record with 52 points as the Owls (17-8, 11-1 MASCAC) won the regular season league title at home Saturday.
Amherst 4, Middlebury 1 — David White, Jack Fitzgerald, Stanley Brenner and Patrick Daly scored as Amherst (14-6-3, 9-6-3 NESCAC) won at home Saturday.
UMass Lowell 5, UMass 2 — Steven Iacobellis and Joseph Widmar each scored, while Ryan Wischow made 19 saves but the Minutemen (5-24-2, 2-16-1 Hockey East) fell at home Saturday night.
Amherst 4, Wesleyan 2 — Jocelyn Hunyadi, Jamie McNamara, Katelyn Pantera and Katie Savage each scored as Amherst (12-7-5, 6-5-5 NESCAC) won at home Sunday.
Amherst 1, Wesleyan 1 (OT) — Hunyadi scored but Amherst (11-7-5, 5-5-5 NESCAC) settled for the tie on the road Saturday.
Ohio State 8, UMass 7 — Ben Spencer scored three goals and Tyler Bogart had two as the Minutemen (0-2) fell on the road Saturday.
Shane Rinkus and Jake Lisauskas also scored against No. 20 Ohio State (3-0).
D.J. Smith had 10 saves in defeat.
Oakland 2, UMass 1 — Meg Colleran struck out five and allowed five hits as the Minutewomen (2-3) closed out play the EMU Madeira Beach in Florida on Sunday.
Southern Illinois 7, UMass 0; Central Michigan 11, UMass 0 — Kaycee Carbone went 2-for-3 against the Salukis, while Kaitlyn Stavinoha and Ashton Wince each had two hits against the Chippewas, but the Minutewomen (2-2) were swept Saturday in the EMU Madeira Beach Invitational.
UMass 6, Army 1 — The Minutewomen (5-3) bounced back from Saturday’s 6-1 loss to Boston College to give retiring coach Judy Dixon a victory in her final indoor match of the season Sunday.
Ana Yrazusta’s win at No. 1 singles started UMass on the right track.
