Ally Kido hit a grand slam in the seventh inning and was one of four Amherst softball players with three hits in a 13-4 win over Trinity on Saturday.

Kyra Naftel (two RBIs), Sara Buck (two RBIs) and Andrea Sanders (RBI) also had three hits for Amherst (8-5).

Gina Pagan struck out six to get the win in the circle.

Baseball

UMass 2, George Washington 1; UMass 10, George Washington 4 — Nolan Kessinger totaled two hits and three RBIs in a weekend sweep for the Minutemen (6-9, 2-1 A-10).

Men’s lacrosse

Brown 10, UMass 9 (OT) — The Minutemen rallied from a two-goal deficit in the fourth quarter but fell in overtime Saturday.

Dan Muller led the team with two goals and three assists.

Tyler Bogart and Jeff Trainor also scored twice. Grant Consoletti found the net and dished out two assists, while Buddy Carr and Ben Spencer had a goal and an assist each.

DJ Smith made 16 saves for UMass (3-5).

Amherst 17, Hamilton 9 — Colin Minicus tallied three goals and four assists in a road win Saturday.

Jack Norton and Brogan Mahon also had hat tricks for Amherst (5-2, 2-1 NESCAC).

Women’s lacrosse

Hamilton 7, Amherst 4 — Darby Philbrick and Casey File each had two goals, but Amherst lost at home Saturday.

Hannah Burrall made five saves for Amherst (3-3, 1-2 NESCAC).

UMass 10, Marist 7 — The Minutewomen closed the game on a 5-0 run to win Saturday.

Abby Walked scored three goals for UMass (5-3), while Hannah Burnett found the net twice.

Skidmore 15, Mount Holyoke 4 — Charlotte Wagner scored all four goals in the Lyon’s loss Saturday and led the team with six ground balls.

Isa Rodriguez made six saves and took the loss for Mount Holyoke (2-5), while Mia Wysocki made five saves.
