Grant Consoletti and Jeff Trainor tallied four points each in a 9-6 win over Dartmouth for the UMass men’s lacrosse team Saturday.

Consoletti had a goal and three assists, while Trainor scored twice and added to assists.

Tyler Bogart also scored twice, while Buddy Carr, Ben Spencer, Jesse Leung and Jake Marino found the net for UMass (4-5, 1-0 Colonial Athletic Association).

D.J. Smith made nine saves.

Amherst 20, Middlebury 11 — Jack Norton scored eight times in a win Saturday.

Colin Minicus added five points with two goals and three assists for Amherst (7-2, 3-1 NESCAC).

Trenton Shore had two goals and two assists, while Jimmy McAfee had a goal and two assists.

Jackson Herrick contributed a goal and an assist, and Cody Tranbarger made 18 saves to pick up the win.

Women’s lacrosse

Emerson 15, Smith 5 — Northampton’s Emily Biggs had a goal, while Clelie Fielding added a goal and an assist in a loss Saturday. Caroline Myran, Bella Ferraro and Sydney Garner also found the net for Smith (8-3, 0-2 NEWMAC).

Middlebury 13, Amherst 3 — Julia Crerend, Kate Wyeth and Claire Cagnassola scored for Amherst in a loss Saturday.

Babson 15, Mount Holyoke 4 — Northampton’s Leila Koukou had two goals in a loss Saturday. Mazzie Meotti and Charlotte Wagner also found the net for the Lyons (2-7, 0-2 NEWMAC).

UMass 24, Saint Joseph’s 14 — Hannah Burnett had eight goals and two assists for 10 points in a home win Sunday. Holly Turner contributed four goals and three assists for seven points, and Cassidy Doster had four points with a goal and three assists. Ashley Faulhaber scored three goals with an assist

Kailtlyn Cerasi dished out three assists, while Mary Randazzo and Stephanie Croke had two each for UMass (7-3. 1-0 A-10).

Kiley Anderson found the net twice, and Lauren Hiller made nine saves.

Baseball

Morehead State 6, UMass 5; Morehead State 22, UMass 0 — Mike Geannelis hit a two-run homer in Saturday’s win. Ryan Lever had two hits and an RBI for the Minutemen (6-13) in that game.

The Minutemen allowed 28 hits in Sunday’s loss.

Softball

George Washington 4, UMass 1; UMass 4, George Washington 0; UMass 4, George Washington 3 — Kaitlyn Stavinoha, had a hit and three RBIs, and the Minutewomen bested George Washington in a weekend series.

Amherst 10, Hamilton 5; Amherst 14, Hamilton 5; Amherst 6, Hamilton 4 — Kyra Naftel totaled 10 hits and four RBIs in a weekend series sweep for Amherst, including a game-winning two-run triple Sunday.
