The Northampton boys and girls track & field teams beat Minnechaug Monday to stay unbeaten in the Valley League.
Only Longmeadow (May 11) and East Longmeadow (May 16) can prevent the girls squad from a perfect season.
Ludlow (May 9) and East Longmeadow (May 16) stand in the boys team’s way.
Gretchen Saveson won the 400-meter (62.8 seconds) and the 400 hurdles (70.8), and anchored the winning 4×400 relay as the Blue Devils beat the Falcons, 72.66-68.33 in the girls meet.
The relay, which included Mairead Blatner, Maya Evans and Maddie Etzel, won in 4:39 to clinch the victory.
Alesandra Campedelli won the shot put (26 feet, 1 inch) and discus (70-2) for Hamp (3-0, 3-0 Valley League).
Cole Lavalle placed first in the 110-meter high hurdles in 16.1 seconds and first in the 400 hurdles in 59.7 seconds as the Hamp boys won 88-56.
Nik Smith broke 50 seconds in the 400, winning with in a hand-timed 49.9 seconds. Lavalle was second in 50.6 and Pat Quinlan third in 53.2 to give the Blue Devils (3-1, 3-0 Valley League) a sweep over the Falcons (1-4, 1-3.
