Rachel Robinson drove in Michelle McDermott in the bottom of the eighth to push the Easthampton softball team past Central, 7-6 at home.

Robinson had two hits and drove in two in the game, earned the win with 14 strikeouts.

Sophie Deblase added two hits for Easthampton (7-1).

Northampton 8, Westfield 4 — Amanda Mieczkowski went 2-for-3 with three RBIs, as the Blue Devils won their seventh straight game.

Hannalise Rivera-Lovett also had two hits and an RBI, while Abby Pelis added two hits and two RBIs for Northampton (9-1), which needs one more win to qualify for the postseason.

Anna Kerwood struck out five with six hits and one walk to pick up the win.

Palmer 18, Gateway 5 — Erika Wolfe and Angela Wright each had two hits for the Gators (1-10) in a road loss.

Hampshire Regional 11, Ludlow 2 — Katy O’Connor hit a two-run homer and finished with four RBIs on a 3-for-3 day, as the Raiders snapped a three-game losing streak.

Madison Philbrook went 3-for-4 with a home run and a double with three RBIs.

Justine Legowski hit a double and a triple with two RBIs and a run scored for Hampshire (6-4, 1-0 Suburban).

Frontier Regional 12, Hopkins Academy 4 — McKenzie Patterson had four hits, two doubles, in the Red Hawks’ road win.

Sarah Meunier, Kelsey Jarvis, Lexa Boyden and Kimmie Asseng all added three hits each for Frontier (3-4, 2-3 Franklin).

Greta Kurtz had two hits and an RBI for Hopkins (2-7, 0-6), while Maegan Quinlan and Kelsey Bushey each had a hit and an RBI.

Granby 6, Sabis 5 — Kate Sullivan had three hits and drove in a run, while Emily Sawyer had a hit and a two, two-out RBIs as the Rams (5-5) won their fourth straight.

Freshman Lindsey Wenzel made a rare start and allowed four hits and survived 10 walks.

Minnechaug 15, Belchertown 1 — Lauren LeBlanc drove in Emma LeBlanc for the lone run as the Orioles fell at home.
