The Easthampton Post 224 American Legion baseball team powered past Longmeadow, 8-2, Wednesday at Daley Field.
Easthampton pulled away in the fifth behind a grand slam by Brandon Bennett.
Tim Fay added two hits for Easthampton.
Bennett pitched four innings and allowed four hits, two walks and one earned run for Easthampton (5-3).
Agawam 16, South Hadley 0 (5) — Ethan Fleming and David Adams had hits for Post 260 in a road loss.
Kyle Gemme walked twice for South Hadley.
Northampton 9, Monson 4 — Derek Zewinski hit a double and a single, and added three RBIs and a run for Post 28.
Kevin Banas had three hits and an RBI. He scored three times.
Ian Ostberg also added three hits and an RBI with two runs scored for Northampton (6-1).
Amherst 11, Dalton 1 (5) —Ryan Dwyer (run) had a double, a triple, a run scored and an RBI for Amherst.
J.B. Mills drove in two runs, while Eli Slovin and Quentin Moliterno each had one hit, one run and one RBI.
Luke Leonard picked up the win for Amherst, striking out six and allowing just three hits in five innings.
