NORTHAMPTON — Former Hampshire Regional High School girls basketball coach Richard Moussette is set for trial in November on charges he exposed himself to teenage girls.

Moussette, 56, of Holyoke, was charged with five counts of open and gross lewdness after allegedly “posing” nude for teenage friends of his daughter staying overnight at his home between 2009 and 2012.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges in Northampton District Court in January and vehemently denied the allegations during interviews with police.

Defense attorney Shawn Allyn and Assistant Northwestern District Attorney Lori Odierna agreed on Nov. 29 for the start of a jury trial.

An effort by the defense to separate the five charges, made by four young women, into four trials was denied by Northampton District Court Judge W. Michael Goggins on June 30.
