I read with jubilation that the South County EMS is preparing for its digs by the generous partnership with the Deerfield Acadamy (“South County EMS building plan advances,” July 6). After reading the article, I was left with two questions.
First, will the building be built with forethought for eventual expansion to accommodate additional ambulances as the need waxes with the population and call increases for the three-town collaborative?
Second, has thought been given to a training room for the service with the ability to open it up to community meeting place, training, et cetera?
Other than that, kudos for all the time, effort and commitment to all involved, not only in the inception, but looking forward to the future as this service only grows and strives to provide exemplary pre-hospital care to all its constituents and citizens involved.
