FREE SUMMER CONCERT — Amherst Community Band at Sweetser Park, Aug. 18, 7 to 8 p.m. This multi-generational band plays a mix of classic marches and modern compositions from stage and screen. Parking in town is free at this time. Sponsored by the Amherst BID.
BUS TRIPS
Schooner Cruise in Newport, Rhode Island, July 29. Departs at 8 a.m. and returns between 7 and 7:30 p.m. $75 includes cruise, motorcoach and gratuity. Prior to the 1½ hour cruise, participants will explore shops and eat lunch at the restaurant of their choice.
Tanglewood on Parade, Aug. 1, 3:30-11 p.m. $60 includes motorcoach, lawn seats, and gratuity. Features the Boston Symphony, The Boston Pops, Tanglewood Music Center Orchestras and Tanglewood Festival Chorus. Fireworks follow the concert. Participants can bring their own chair, blanket, and picnic set up; food is also available for sale.

Foot Care: Starting Sept. 1, the registered nurses from FootCare by Nurses will be offering foot care on the first Friday of the month, from 8:30 am until noon.
Nurses will make suggestions about skin care, shoe fit and compression socks and other relevant issues. An intake and lower limb assessment will be conducted during the visit to our clinic. An initial visit is $60 and will take 45 minutes. Follow up appointments are typically every 8 weeks at $45 per session. To make an appointment, call the Senior Center at 587-1228.

Hilltown Food Pantry — Northern Hilltown residents with low to moderate incomes may be eligible to receive free groceries from Hilltown Pantry, a satellite program of the Northampton Survival Center. The pantry is located at the Town Office Building on Route 9 in Goshen. Income guidelines, set by the U.S. Deptartment of Agriculture, are a maximum of $1,832 per month for a single person, or $2,470 per month for two people. The pantry is open from 1-3 p.m. every Wednesday, and until 6 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month. To enter the pantry, go to the left of the building and through the side door.
