Cites climate change as a cause of storm Harvey

On the news I heard the storm Harvey called a “natural” disaster. It is not. It is the result of 150 years of us burning coal, oil and natural gas.

The oceans are warming. The storms going over the oceans are greater. Then the cycle swings the other way and the droughts are getting longer. Farmers in Africa, India, and Syria are losing their farms.

The hardest thing to accept is that we have brought climate change on ourselves. Every car we drive, contributes to a flood. Each house we heat, contributes to drying a field. A kilowatt from a power plant, makes it harder to breathe.

We have to make a change and if not now, when?
