The 19th Annual Garlic and Arts Festival takes place Sept. 23 and 24, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Forster’s Farm, 60 Chestnut Hill Road, Orange
The event features 100 booths showcasing regional artists, farmers, community organizations and garlic cuisine.
Live music and spoken word performances will be happening on three stages โ including a solar-powered music stage โ and throughout the fields and forest.
There will be garlic games galore including the famous raw garlic-eating contest, healing arts exhibitors, chef demos and, of course, food courts.
The festival is a non-profit event under the umbrella of Seeds of Solidarity Education Center. Proceeds keep it sustainable and affordable, and support the festivalโs community grant program for local art, agriculture, health and energy projects.
Admission is $5 per day for adults, weekend pass $8, kids 12 and under free. There will be on-site parking for accessible tags and carpools of three or more and a free nearby shuttle lot for all others.
Pets are not allowed.
