Isaac Wright has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at The University of Maine in Farmington, Maine.
Justine Bohl, a junior biochemistry major, was named to the fall semester dean’s list at Clark University in Worcester.
Charles Turner has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he is a senior English student at the Commonwealth Honors College.
Ethan Young was named to the fall semester dean’s list at Emerson College in Boston, where he is a member of the class of 2019, majoring in film production.
Michael McKenzie has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota.
Aurora Bartley has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at The University of Maine in Farmington, Maine.
Rachel Larson has been named to the fall semester president’s list at Western New England University in Springfield, where she is working toward a doctor of pharmacy degree.
Samuel Greeman was named to the fall semester dean’s list at Boston University.
Kaitlin Travers has earned New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference status at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, where she competes with the women’s swimmers and divers. It is her third time to receive the honor.
Ben Michalak was named to the fall semester dean’s list at The State University of New York College at Geneseo in Geneseo, New York.
Shannen Hogan, a graduating senior at Smith Academy, was named a candidate in the 2018 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. She is the daughter of Michael and Joanne Hogan.
Erik Vorwerk, a senior majoring in automotive engineering technology, has been named to the fall semester dean’s list, with high honors, at Minnesota State University, Mankato, Minnesota.
U.S. Air Force Airman Corey A. Calkins graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Calkins is the son of Lisa and Todd Calkins and the brother of Alicia Calkins. He is a 2017 graduate of South Hadley High School.
Katherine L. Dickins has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Juniata College in in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, where she is a senior studying health communication with a secondary emphasis in management. Dickins is the child of Dr. Lorane Dick and Dr. Teresa Tompkins.
Local students named to the dean’s list at the college in Waterville, Maine, include Ella S. McDonald of Florence, class of 2019, an environmental policy major, graduate of Northampton High School and daughter of Douglas and Deanna McDonald; Benjamin R. Schiller of Northampton, class of 2018, a government major, graduate of Deerfield Academy, and son of Heidi Schiller; and Margaret S. White of Northampton, class of 2020, a history major, graduate of Williston Northampton School and daughter of Thomas and Katherine White.
