Sugar Maple Trees and Buckets

As I was wandering through the sugar bush on Wapping road in Deerfield last Saturday photographing things related to maple sugaring, I thought it might be interesting to capture an image of the buckets on the trees from a low perspective. So I put my mirrorless camera with a wide angle lens on the ground between two trees and set the timer to create the photo. When I looked at the resulting image on my camera, it was one of those “eureka moments” — the image had so much more in it that I had envisioned.
