Dawson Wolcott pitched a gem as the Easthampton baseball team beat Athol, 1-0, Friday on the road.

Wolcott struck out 13, walked one and scattered three hits for the Eagles (7-5, 4-1 Hampshire East). Athol got a single in the first, sixth and seventh innings.

Zack Kugler’s one-out RBI single scored Lance Parrish, who walked and stole second to open the game.

Kugler and Matt Arroyo each had two hits.

South Hadley 4, Greenfield 1 — Three players had two hits and David Adams scattered four hits as the Tigers (4-8, 2-3 Hampshire West) won at Doubleday Field in Cooperstown, New York.

Evan Levrault (run), Drew Foley (RBI) and Nick Cirone each had two hits.

Adams struck out six and walked one in the complete game.

Frontier Regional 24, Belchertown 7 (5) — The Orioles (7-6, 2-4 Hampshire West) couldn’t keep up with the Red Hawks (11-1, 5-1) in the loss at home.

Belchertown led 3-2 after the first but trailed 10-7 after two. Frontier broke the game open with nine runs in the fourth.

Kiernan Freeman (four RBIs) had four of the Red Hawks’ 20 hits. Kalen Evans (two RBIs), Dillion Apanell (four RBIs) each had three. Alec Jordan hit a homer.

Zack Bohnet (four RBIs) and Ryan French (two RBIs) each had two hits.

McCann Tech 5, Gateway Regional 2 — Wyatt Heeter and Garrett Bean each had two hits, while Ryan Orr added a hit and a walk, but the Gators (4-7) fell on the road.

East Longmeadow 9, Amherst Regional 3 — Justin Masteralexis had two hits, two RBIs and scored a run for the Hurricanes, who fell at home.
