NORTHAMPTON — A lane will be closed on Interstate 91 northbound on Thursday, May 31, according to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.

The left lane of I-91 northbound, beginning just south of Exit 18 and ending at the bridge over Damon Road, will be closed from approximately 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to MassDOT. The closure is due to concrete pours on bridges between mile marker 22.5 and 25.5.

MassDOT said the public should “be mindful of potential traffic impacts” and requested those traveling through the area should reduce their speed and use caution.

According to MassDOT, the work is weather-dependent and subject to change without notice.
