Sonja Eiseman, a high school senior at the Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School, has been awarded a National Security Language Initiative for Youth scholarship for 2018-19 by the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Sonja will study Chinese in Taiwan for the summer on a full merit scholarship.
