Approaching Route 9 on Allen Street in Belchertown, motorists feel like they are taking their life into their own hands.
With the speeding cars coming from both directions on Route 9 and the difficulty in seeing both directions, one has to creep out, hoping the front end will not be ripped off. The dangerous intersection of Route 9 and Allen Street is another accident waiting to happen. I pray no one is killed attempting to cross Route 9.
Possible solutions are to clear growth which obstructs the view, a speed limit slowed on Route 9 to 20 mph approaching Allen Street or a traffic light.
