HADLEY — Hadley Police are looking for suspects in two separate incidents of theft, and using Facebook to try to find the alleged culprits.
On Saturday, police posted a photo of a man the agency is seeking in connection with a home breaking and entering case. Police also posted photos of a woman the department is seeking in connection with a larceny from Wal-Mart.
Police said the breaking and entering of the house off Route 47 occurred while the family was away. Various items were stolen, namely electronics and jewelry.
Police posted a still image from home security footage of the alleged perpetrator on the department’s Facebook page.
In another case, a Hadley woman came into the Hadley Police Department on Saturday alleging that another person took out a credit card in her name at the Hadley Wal-Mart and made purchases there.
Officer Jose Cabrera said that he obtained security footage of the alleged perpetrator from Wal-Mart.
“It was actually pretty simple,” he said.
The purchases allegedly took place on July 2 and consisted of four iPads and an Apple Pen, totaling $1,500 with tax.
Stills from the security footage of the woman were posted on the Hadley Police Department’s Facebook page.
So far, no arrests have been made in either case.
