Drew Caires stopped two shots, and the Easthampton boys soccer team kept a clean sheet for the sixth time in seven games beating Hopkins Academy, 2-0, in Nonotuck Park Monday.
Chris Williams scored off an Adam Johndrow assist in the first half, while Tyler Karakula finished with a goal off an assist from Sam Colenback for the Eagles (7-0, 6-0 Schmid).
Easthampton has only given up one goal all season.
Jack Feltovic had 12 saves for Hopkins. (2-5, 2-3).
Greenfield 3, Smith Academy 2 — Sam Dadmun scored off an assist from Sam Dobson, and Pat Lavelle gave the Falcons a 2-0 lead with an assist from Max Bartland.
The Green Wave bounced back and took the lead with 10 minutes left en route to their first win since 2016.
Ryan Balena made six stops for Smith Academy (2-5, 1-5 McGrath).
Renaissance 6 Granby 2— Ryan Shaw had a goal for the Rams in the first half while Matt Walz scored in the second. Dominick Nomakeo made nine saves for Granby (0-7,0-5 Schmid).
Minnechaug 2, Northampton 0 — Jarrett Borer stopped 13 shots, and Evan Renauld made six saves in a road loss.
The game was tied at 0 at halftime.
Northampton (2-5-1) created three “really good chances, but weren’t able to put it in the back of the net,” Blue Devils coach Brian Brown said.
Longmeadow 3, Belchertown 2— Nathan Schiffer and Zach Lujeunesse scored, while Max Carron and Evan Fournier added assists in a road loss. Christ Tilton had 13 saves for Belchertown (5-2, 4-0 Churchill).
Hampshire Regional 2, Central 0— Justin Szwajkowski converted a penalty kick to give the Raiders the lead in the first half.
Aidan Miklasiewicz, a seventh-grader from the junior varsity team, added a goal off an assist from Peter Jacek to give the Raiders a 2-0 halftime lead.
Colin Boyle finished with 14 saves for Hampshire (2-3, 1-3 Holley).
South Hadley 3, Athol 1 — Jonas Clarke, Liam Joy and Max McCurdy all scored in the first half for South Hadley.
Alex Lerch made eight saves for the Tigers (5-1, 4-1 Schmid).
Frontier Regional 3, Southwick 1 — Vick McNutt, Ben Morse and Connor Bagdon all found the net in the second half of a road win.
Peter Bronke made three saves for the Red Hawks (4-2-1).
Smith Vocational 2, Putnam 0 — Colin Earle and Garvin Thomas both scored in the second half for the Vikings (3-2).
Thomas Doyle made eight saves.
Agawam 4, Amherst 2 — Brayan Rivas Martinez scored in the second half to make it 2-1, but that’s as close as the Hurricanes (3-4) got.
Marcos Soares Delgado also scored on an assist from Dylan Robson.
