Olivia Vecellio scored two goals and Emily DeMaio added one as the Frontier Regional field hockey team beat West Springfield, 3-0, Friday in South Deerfield.
The Red Hawks (5-2-2) controlled play throughout.
Maeve Huit had one assist and Skyla Burniske made no saves in the shutout.
After losses to Minnechaug and Longmeadow earlier this week, coach Missy Mahar was pleased with the way the Red Hawks executed and kept the ball on their offensive half.
Vecellio directed play from her center midfield position, while Cassidy Badwell played well defensively in front of Burniske.
Agawam 5, South Hadley 1 — Corryn Moroney scored for the Tigers in the second half.
Gabi Moroney had the assist, crossing to her sister after picking up her own rebound on an earlier cross attempt.
Maddie Fontaine stopped four shots in the first half, while Brooke Boyer made one save in the second half for South Hadley (5-3-1).
Minnechaug 4, Smith Academy 1 — The Falcons fell to 0-5-2 with the loss at home.
Easthampton 7, Mohawk 0 — Frances Powers scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Eagles at home.
Malia Sands added a pair of goals for the Eagles (3-3), who also received goals from Rosie Pagnoni, Jaquy Perez and Emily Landry. Abbie Coleman made three saves to pitch the shutout.
South Hadley 1, Southwick 0 — Alexa Blaney scored and Bridget Sears made six saves as the Tigers (7-0) earned the shutout on the road.
Pope Francis 2, Smith Academy 1 — Emma Moynihan scored from Maggie Hession, and Madelyn Bell made 18 saves, but the Falcons (3-3) fell on the road.
Mahar 7, Smith Vocational 0 — Lizzy Hardy made 16 saves, but the Vikings (2-3-1) fell on Orange.
Ludlow 3, Belchertown 2 — Marrissa Courchesne’s 12 kills and seven blocks were not enough for the Orioles, which dropped a 25-14, 26-28, 21-25, 25-11, 15-9 match at home.
Madison Sefton hit five aces for the Orioles (3-7).
Smith Vocational 3, Renaissance 0 — Led by strong performances from Marissa Rodrigues, Nyisha Saltis and Haleigh Pensivy, the Vikings held off the Phoenix 25-23, 25-22, 26-24 to improve its record to 2-7 overall and 2-3 in the Metro League.
