Elizabeth Fuqua passed 27 assists and made 11 digs, as the Frontier Regional girls volleyball team beat Amherst Regional, 3-1, Thursday in South Deerfield.

Lauren Davenport (15 kills) and Olivia Deane (11 kills) were on the finishing end of a large portion of those attacks in a 25-19, 25-21, 21-25, 25-12 win.

Ashley Telega had four aces for Frontier (9-1, 3-0 Eastern).

Amanda Crowe-Chandler picked up 11 digs and two aces for Amherst (4-4, 0-3).

Olivia Hogans (four aces, six digs) led the Hurricanes with seven kills, while Erin Klaes had six.

Amelia Beigel passed 22 assists and had four aces. Nicole Lambert fired four aces.

Minnechaug 3, Belchertown 0 โ€” Marissa Courchesne (block) had three kills, while Madison Sefton and Madison Mallalieu added two each in a 25-7, 25-12, 25-17 road loss.

Allison Cote passed three assists, and Isabel Vigneault and Lauren Majerowski each fired two aces for Belchertown (3-6)

Boys soccer

Hampshire Regional 1, Frontier Regional 0 โ€” Grady Fern found a winner in the second half as the Raiders won on the road.

Aidan White assisted him for Hampshire (3-3).

Peter Bronke made three saves for the Red Hawks (4-3-1).

Pioneer Regional 6, Smith Academy 0 โ€” Ryan Belina made six saves, but the Falcons fell at home.

Smith Academy (2-6, 0-4 McGrath) trailed 4-0 at halftime, but played better in the second half, coach Jason Duncan said.

Ludlow 5, Belchertown 0 โ€” Christopher Tilton made 10 saves, but the Orioles (6-3) fell in Ludlow.

The game was originally scheduled for Belchertown, but field conditions forced a venue change.

Smith Vocational 8, Duggan 1 โ€” Cole Boisvert collected a hat trick, as the Vikings put in four goals in each half on the road.

Hunter Johnson dished two assists.

Tucker Scott, William Childs Florio, Cameron Perry and Jacob Rafus also found the net for Smith Vocational (4-3).

Girls soccer

Ware 1, Gateway Regional 0 โ€” Becca Herman stopped 11 shots, but the Gators (4-2) couldnโ€™t find the back of the net on the road.

Smith Vocational 6, FC Tech 0 โ€” Karlie Petlock, Megan Cone and Marissa Meyhew scored two goals apiece for the Vikings (2-2-1), who led 3-0 at halftime.

Meyhew, Petlock and Cone each had an assist to finish with three points apiece. Lizzy Hardy made seven saves.
