During the next three months, you have the opportunity to donate to the Trees of Love and Thanksgiving fund raising initiative. It is sponsored by the Friends of Cooley Dickinson and the Pastoral Care department. This is the 20th year of the drive. It gives donors the chance to honor and/or memorialize loved ones as well as the opportunity to support critical projects at Cooley Dickinson, your community hospital.
Monies raised in this year’s campaign will be used to help renovate and upgrade the Childbirth Center which was constructed nearly 20 years ago. In addition 10 car beds, used to transport underweight babies home, will be donated to parents in need.
Donor forms have been mailed to many community members. Other forms are available at the CDH Coffee Shop and online at cooleydickinson.org/treesoflove.
On Nov. 18, please join us in the hospital’s Healing Garden for the tree lighting ceremony. The illumination of the trees is not only a visual tribute but also symbolic of your love for another. It is especially poignant at this time of giving.
Won’t you consider joining in celebration of love and thanksgiving by making a donation to the Trees of Love and Thanksgiving this year?
