NORTHAMPTON – Two power outages affected 118 customers in Northampton on Tuesday morning.
In an area near Prospect Street and Henshaw Avenue, an outage was caused by failed equipment starting at 3 a.m, according to National Grid. The outage lasted for about six hours. National Grid was unable to provide more details on what caused the equipment failure.
A second power outage near Dunphy Drive was caused by a downed tree and impacted 99 customers.
On Tuesday morning, a National Grid crew was on Henshaw Avenue working to restore power. By midday, power was restored to all customers, according to National Grid’s power outage map online.
