NORTHAMPTON – An Easthampton woman was arraigned on a charge of larceny over $1,200 by single scheme in Northampton District Court Wednesday.
Jennifer Cieboter, of Maple Street, is alleged to have stolen $5,501.54 from the Dunkin’ Donuts at 60 Union St. in Easthampton.
Cieboter was arraigned before judge Kevin Maltby, who entered a plea of not guilty on her behalf. Cieboter requested, and was assigned, a court-appointed attorney. She was released on her own recognizance, with the condition that she stay away from the Dunkin’ Donuts on Union Street.
According to the police narrative in her court file, Cieboter is alleged to have not made three bank deposits from Dunkin’ Donuts: a deposit of $1,834.79 on Oct. 8, a deposit of $1,866.12 on Oct. 15, and a partial deposit of $1,157.63 on Oct. 16. It was also alleged that there was $643 in missing petty cash that Cieboter was responsible for.
Cieboter is next due back in court on Feb. 4 for a pre-trial hearing.
