Sean Doherty scored two goals and had an assist, as the South Hadley ice hockey team beat Minnechaug 7-5 on Saturday at Fitzpatrick Arena in Holyoke.

Ben Watkins also found the net twice for the Tigers (2-1), while Matthew Brunelle, Mike Mazza and Joe Cigal all added a goal and an assist, each.

Anthony Cigal stopped 28 shots for South Hadley.

Amherst Regional 7, Chicopee 4 — Brandon Peritz and Kouji Ishida scored two goals each in a road win Saturday, and Gio Rivera had two assists.

Nick Foster added a goal and an assist. Jayden Blackburn and Morgan Peritz both found the net, and Evan Smith, Chris Foster and Eli Slovin had assists.

Jon Hanscom stopped 28 shots for the Hurricanes (3-0, 2-0 Fay).

Belchertown 3, Greenfield 3 —Belchertown goalie Ethan Rajpold made a glove save on Greenfield’s Aurel Pydych’s breakaway chance with six seconds left to preserve the tie Saturday. He finished with 20 saves.

Matthew Pacheco (assist), Vaughn Gillen and Cody Lambert found the net for the Orioles (2-0-1, 1-0-1 Wright). Nathan Ayers also had an assist.

Jacob Bryant had two goals in the third period for the Green Wave (2-0-1, 0-0-1), and Doug Hanieski scored the third. Bryan Baumann and Aiden Roache had assists.

Greenfield goalie Riley drew stopped 17 shots.

Easthampton 6, Chicopee Comp 0 — Jake Batchelder tallied two goals and two assists in a win Saturday.

Garren Fugiel scored twice, once on the power play, and Mike McColgan added a power play goal and an assist. Chris Tenczar passed two assists. Jake Delisle found the net on the power play for the Eagles (3-1).
