Matt Pacheco scored a third-period goal to lift Belchertown to a 1-0 win over Mount Everett, Wednesday at the Berkshire School.
Vaughn Gillen added the assist on Pacheco’s goal that supported Ethan Rajpold’s 19-save shutout. The Orioles (4-1-1) outshot Mount Everett 25-19 in the victory.
Chicipee Comp 4, Easthampton 3 – Garren Fugiel scored two goals, but it wasn’t enough as Easthampton fell 4-3 to Chicopee Comp at the Fitzpatrick Ice Arena.
Cole Growhoski scored the other goal for the Eagles (3-2), who picked up assists from Ely Boyle, Byron Dudas, Matt Sullivan and Christopher Tenczar. Tyler Cortis made 23 saves in the loss for Easthampton, which outshot Chicopee Comp 30-11 in the final two periods.
